Wear a genuine fragment of the Campo del Cielo meteorite, one of the world's best-known historic iron meteorites. Each pendant combines a natural Campo del Cielo specimen with a durable stainless steel fitting while preserving the individual shape and character of the meteorite.
Campo del Cielo, meaning “Field of the Sky”, is an extensive meteorite strewn field in the Gran Chaco region of Argentina. The iron meteorites are associated with a prehistoric fall approximately 4,000–5,000 years ago, while the first documented European investigation of the material dates to 1576.
Classified as an IAB-MG iron meteorite, Campo del Cielo consists predominantly of iron and nickel with associated accessory minerals. Each fragment has its own natural shape, metallic character and surface texture, meaning no two pendants are identical.
Rather than using a generic Small, Medium or Large classification, GeoFossils allows you to choose a defined weight range from 10–16g, making it easier to select the pendant size and weight you prefer.

About Campo del Cielo
The Campo del Cielo meteorite field in northern Argentina is associated with the prehistoric atmospheric entry and fragmentation of a large iron meteoroid. Numerous masses were distributed across an extensive strewn field, giving the region its evocative name, Campo del Cielo – “Field of the Sky”.
Its documented history stretches back centuries, while scientific study has established Campo del Cielo as an IAB-MG iron meteorite.
Turning a fragment into a pendant allows the meteorite to remain immediately recognisable as a natural specimen. Rather than cutting or polishing the meteorite into a conventional gemstone, its irregular form and textured metallic exterior become part of the finished jewellery.
Authenticity & Provenance
Each pendant is made using genuine Campo del Cielo meteorite material and is supplied with GeoFossils meteorite documentation and a Certificate of Authenticity.
GeoFossils is a Global Meteorite Association Trusted Business, Member G0127, supporting our commitment to accurately represented meteorites and responsible provenance.
