Pietersite Sterling Silver Pendant is handcrafted in the UK from ethically sourced Namibian pietersite. Known as the “Tempest Stone” for its swirling storms of gold, blue, brown, and red chatoyancy, this dynamic gemstone is beautifully set in polished sterling silver. Pietersite is celebrated for its transformative and grounding properties, helping the wearer adapt to change while staying centred.

Mineral Composition
Pietersite is a brecciated chalcedony composed primarily of quartz (SiO₂) intergrown with crocidolite and other amphibole minerals. Its striking chatoyancy comes from the fibrous structure of these inclusions, with colours ranging from deep blues and golds to reds and browns. It has a Mohs hardness of 6.5–7, making it durable for jewellery.
