Care Instructions

Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the gemstone and silver fitting thoroughly afterwards. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfumes, cosmetics, oils and harsh cleaning chemicals.

Protect from excessive heat, sudden temperature changes and accidental impacts. Sugilite has a Mohs hardness of approximately 5.5–6.5 and should be handled carefully to minimise the risk of scratching, chipping or surface damage.

Store separately from harder gemstones in a soft jewellery pouch or lined jewellery compartment to protect both the mineral and its sterling silver bail.

Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaning. Remove the pendant before swimming, showering, exercising or undertaking activities where accidental impact may occur.
