Peanut Obsidian Tumble Stone – Rare Grounding & Renewal Crystal is a rare variety of Perlite, a naturally occurring amorphous volcanic glass with high water content, making it both energetically and geologically unique. What makes this stone so visually captivating are the reddish-pink “peanut”-shaped inclusions, which are actually feldspar crystals stained by hematite over time. This rare material was discovered in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico by Alberto Maas and was originally intended to be named Almasite, though that name was already registered to another mineral. To this day, no other deposits have been found, and much of the existing material is held closely by American and Mexican jewellers, making this stone incredibly exclusive and highly sought after.
