Discover crystal points, towers and obelisks at GeoFossils, from polished forms to pieces with rough sides and polished tips. Explore different materials, colours and finishes to find a piece for your collection, home display or personal spiritual practice.
A crystal point has a defined tip, which may be naturally formed or created through cutting and polishing. Within this collection, GeoFossils uses “point” to describe pieces with a polished tip and rough sides. Individual product descriptions explain the finish of each piece.
A crystal tower is an upright piece of crystal or stone, usually cut and polished with a flat base and a pointed top. Towers can have different numbers of sides. The name describes the finished shape rather than the mineral itself.
A traditional obelisk has a four-sided shaft that gradually narrows towards a pyramidal tip. Although “tower” and “obelisk” are sometimes used interchangeably in crystal retail, an obelisk has this distinctive tapering form.
Start with the material, colour and shape that appeal to you. Polished surfaces reveal patterns and inclusions, while rough-sided pieces retain more of the stone’s original surface texture.
Check each product page for dimensions, finish, available origin information and whether you will receive the photographed piece or a selected example. Care requirements vary by material, so follow the guidance for your chosen crystal.
In contemporary crystal practice, points, towers and obelisks are sometimes associated with focus, strength and personal intention. Some people include these shapes in meditation spaces or crystal grids as symbolic objects for reflection.
These associations are spiritual interpretations, rather than scientifically established properties or guaranteed effects.
