Azurite Healing Crystal
Azurite is typically found as tabular to prismatic crystals of a deep "azure blue" colour with splendent vitreous faces. Azurite is often pseudo morphed to Malachite, and the two are very frequently found together.
- Mohs Scale: 3.5-4
- Crystal system: Monoclinic
- Name: From the ancient Persian lazhward, meaning "blue", in allusion to the colour. Name changed to azurite in 1824 by François Sulpice Beudant.
Please note Azurite is not huge, especially as supply is very limited. If unsure send us a message and we are more than happy to supply images.
