This striking fossil slab features multiple well-preserved Orthoceras specimens embedded in polished black marble. Dating back to the Devonian Period (approx. 400 million years ago), these extinct straight-shelled cephalopods are related to modern squid and nautilus.
Collected from ancient seabed limestone deposits in Morocco, the slab has been expertly cut and polished to enhance the visual contrast between the fossilised Orthoceras and the dark matrix. Often referred to as an Orthoceras Plate, this display piece is ideal for fossil collectors, educators, or as a unique piece of natural décor.
