Cosmic Events in June 2021

Wow, what an exciting month we have coming up... Not only will there be a Celestial "Ring of Fire", cosmic halo Solar Eclipse, we also have the Summer Solstice and a Strawberry Moon, all in June 2021!

Understanding the Solar Eclipse

Get ready for a beautiful cosmic 'Ring of Fire' and the UK's most significant solar eclipse since 2015. Few spectacles in nature compare to a spectacular cosmic event of an eclipse. Eclipses through the years reveal their powerful effect on human consciousness across history. Yet, some cultures still perceive them as an existential threat, especially to power, others as a cosmic coupling in which the Sun and Moon would generate new stars. To some, an eclipse was the playful chaos of a cosmic trickster. 

For me, eclipses remain significant portents of change, catalysing insights and bringing to the surface underlying patterns and yearnings. Moreover, these transits are major crossroads moments that can dramatically alter the shape of our life. So when is the next eclipse? 

The next annular solar eclipse visible from the UK will be the 10 June 2021; up to 32% of the Sun will be covered by the Moon, creating a cosmic halo.

What does the Solar Eclipse mean for me?

I can hear you asking what does that mean to me? Well, with Mercury approaching a retrograde meeting with luminaries (Sun and Moon), the energy is dynamic and destabilising. Energies during this time are very much like quicksilver, so be prepared to change direction at any moment. The days and weeks following this eclipse may bring lightbulb (I had to drop the minions in here) moments. During this time, so many ideas, connections, and growths have sprung, there is still potential for sudden developments and opportunities. The missing puzzle piece could be a chance encounter with a friend or teacher or a new piece of information. So set aside some time to follow curiosity, but please be cautious. 

2021 Solar Eclipse is super exciting because it comes with prosperous, abundant energy. The world is coming out of a dark hole. Over the next 6-month solar cycle, you will find great success by focusing on work and money matters. However, to achieve your goal, you must refine your thoughts. Be precise with your intentions. Now is not the time to dilly dally; you might already know what you want to accomplish in your material life this year. But if it's still unclear, do affirmations and rituals under the Solar Eclipse for clarity.

Still unsure need some ideas? Why not chase after a promotion, start a business, change careers, build a nest egg, buy a home, reward yourself with an abundant gift. The Solar Eclipse wants you to shoot high this time; don't cheat yourself by aiming low.

With a clear goal in mind, you will be ready to build prosperity. Put your energy into work, and abundance gains because the universe is on your side. Over the next six months, go for it and enjoy the rewards that follow. 

June's Cosmic Calendar:

10 June: Annular Solar Eclipse 
An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is too far away from the Earth to cover the Sun completely, which results in a ring of light around the darkened Moon. As a result, the Sun's corona is not visible during an annular eclipse.

Beginning of Summer

Stargazers won't have to wait too long for the third and last Super Full Moon of the year - when a full moon reaches its closest point to Earth. It is called Strawberry Moon because it signalled the time of year to gather ripening fruit.
